View From the Forge
December, 1999

The past five months have seen a flood of business for Badger Village Blacksmithing.  We've been in production for several summer art shows in the Midwest, in the design stages for new products for 2000, and involved in planning for an overdue expansion of our facilities.

Add to that several large production orders from Kohler and some commission work and you've got a pretty good picture of how we've been engaged during the summer and fall of 1999.

We've added some part time staff to help in the forge.  And in January, we will have a new marketing person on board who will help with product line, internet promotion, and customer service.

The new facility will add about 2500 square feet to our operations and will also house office and meeting space. The core of the new facility will be 5 new workstations that consist of a variety of forge equipment including a four burner Johnson Gas Forge, two NC Gas Forges, and two coke forges. We will also be adding a new air hammer and ironworker.

We will continue to use the original location for retail display, blacksmithing display, and instruction.   We invite you to stop by and visit us!!
